How do I book a session?

What services do you provide?

Multitrack recording, mixing, mastering, producing, analog tape mixdowns, songwriting, voiceovers. The space is also available for photo and video shoots.

Do you rent for rehearsals?

Sorry, but we don't at this time.

Is there a deposit?

Yes, there is a 10% deposit due at the time of booking.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Can I engineer my own session?

Yes! But we will need to have a quick meet-up to ensure our equipment is in safe hands.

When can we Book?

Booking is based on availability.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 7 days before session date.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Sessions may be cancelled with a minimum 7 days notice (less the deposit).

Cancellations taking place after 7 days, will be billed for the remaining 50% of your reserved session time.

What’s your "no show" policy?

If you do not show up for your session you will be billed for 100% of your reserved session time.

Sorry, no refunds.

What if I'm running late?

What happens if my session goes long?

A full-day is 10 hours that includes an hour of prep before and an hour of clean up after each session.

If more time is required, it is subject to the availability of our house engineer/studio’s availability and charged hourly per agreement on the day of.

What are the studio dimensions?

Tracking Room Dimensions: 16' x 17' x 10'

Amp Locker/Iso Booth Dimensions: 2.5' x 9' x '8

Control Room Dimensions: 16.5' x 13.5' x 8'

What kind of equipment/gear do you use?

What kind of converters do you use?

We use Universal Audio.

What version of Pro Tools are you running?

We have Pro Tools 2021 on the house iMac.

What version of LOGIC are you running?

We have LOGIC PRO X on the house iMac.

Are there any house rules?

No smoking inside the studio.

Be nice and clean-up after yourself.

Properly shutdown the studio/equipment at the end of your session.

Guests are liable for any studio equipment or property damaged during a recording session.

Are photos allowed to be taken in the studio?

Yes! We’d love to see them so be sure to tag us: @dreammachinelb

Do you have a kitchen?

Not a proper kitchen, but we have a mini-fridge, a coffee machine, a water dispenser, and a hot pot available for use.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Venmo, PayPal, Credit Card.

All credit and debit card payments are subject to a 3% payment merchant processing fee.

Session data will not be released until payment has been made in full.

do you backup sessions and for How long?

Yes we do backup sessions.

Although we keep them archived for about 6 months it is ultimately your responsibility to bring a drive and make your own backup after the session.
